Description: 

Safety Pin- Is a symbol of solidarity with victims of racism, homophobia & religious discrimination. A way of creating a safe space for those who are afraid, many of whom have experienced a traumatic event.

Body- The Middle, covered in crystalline stones, represents our healed pieces. Always remember, “Through darkness, diamonds spread their richest light.”

Bottom- Jewelless and colorless. We won’t entirely forget. At times, we least expect it; pain and fear may return in waves and revisit us. We learn to live with it and, through that, help others.

Center- The square crystal symbolizes a strong foundation of stability and order, reminding us that we are safe. The square seems unstable, representing our fear of chaos and the repetition of the traumatic event. There will be times when we feel unsafe. We might fear that life might fall apart at any moment. However, the crystalline stones, the most substantial parts of ourselves that have survived and transformed, are holding the square. It is Safe.
